Tracee has been a longtime fan and supporter of Debut as her 3 children have grown up with Debut from 2010 to present. As a result, the Carcasson family has been involved in over 50 productions with Debut! “Our family’s experience with Debut has been wonderful. We have watched our children work as a team, solve problems, learn to use their voices, express emotion, and create art for their community. We are so grateful that Debut has been such a special part of their childhoods and we will certainly continue to support Debut’s mission for years to come.” Tracee’s performance background in dance has fostered her appreciation of the arts and theatre and she is eager to shine a light on all that Debut has to offer students, families, and the community.
After receiving her B.A. in Communication Studies, in her early career she served as Associate Director of Admission at Texas A&M University and Recruitment Programs Coordinator. She also discovered her knack for event planning while serving as the Annual Conference Planning Coordinator for the Texas Association of College Admissions Counseling. It was in these early years that Tracee received training and experience in cultivating volunteer programs and establishing a network of support for organizations through community connections.
Since moving to Colorado in 2003, Tracee has been an active volunteer in Fort Collins through organizations such as Poudre School District, Meals on Wheels, Girls Scouts, Young Men’s Service League and her local church. She lives in Fort Collins with her husband Martin, and they have three children- Gabriela (23), Cameron (20) and Eliana (14) and a border collie/lab named Suki.
